Troop 333 meets on Monday nights at Rolling Acres Edison. We meet at 7:00 p.m. and the meetings end at 8:30 p.m. At the meetings we do an opening flag ceremony then break up into various groups which do rank advancements and merit badges. Then we usually do an activity within our patrols. Then if time permits we play a game. After all that we have our closing flag ceremony and go home.
Troop 333 has a long and rich history in the scouting world. In fact we did not start out as a troop. That's right we started out as Pack 333. The Original Charter date is March 27, 1962. In our first year we had 38 boys and 17 adults. In the 1968 the pack had an astounding 82 scouts and 23 adults. After 1968 the enrollment decreased severely. That is where the records ended for the pack. There fate is unknown. Troop 333 came into existence a year after the pack. The Troops first charter date was October 28, 1963. They had 23 scouts and ten adults. Our first Scoutmaster was Fred C. Hansen. We are currently in the process of gathering more information about our troop's history.
